Delivery Driver

This is a truck driver role based in Oakleigh South with Dove Passive Fire. The role is part time between now and Christmas, with training provided, intending to transition to full time in January 2027.

Your ordinary hours will be from 6:00am-2.30pm Monday & Friday with overtime when required and the occasional Saturday work.

Key responsibilities

Deliver to building sites across the CBD and surrounding areas with occasional regional trips

Start at the yard in Oakleigh South with the intention to be on site at 7am for site deliveries

Load and unload the truck

Pick up material and equipment

Conduct monthly stocktakes

Manage stock levels and notify the office when material needs ordering

Perform running repairs on company equipment as required

Prepare the next day's runs

The Right Person for the Role:

You’re hands-on, proactive, and thrive in a dynamic environment. You have:

A manual driver's licence, with the intention to get a medium rigid ticket in the future.

A forklift license is essential with safety at the forefront of your mind.

High attention to detail regarding paperwork.

Good physical fitness.

Strong communication skills (ability to speak english clearly is preferred)

Motivation to get things done, be adaptable and able to solve problems as they arise

An easy to get along with personality and can work well in a team environment
