About the Role

The Company is seeking a Dean for its College of Law, who will serve as the chief academic and administrative officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing intellectual and administrative leadership, with a strong emphasis on community, educational rigor, and the public interest. This includes guiding the College in its commitment to innovative and relevant education, consulting with and empowering faculty in curriculum development, maintaining high standards of teaching, research, and service, and advocating for the College at both the University and national levels.

The Dean will also be tasked with managing the College's budget, recruiting faculty, and overseeing personnel matters such as tenure, promotion, and renewal. Applicants for the Dean position at the company's College of Law should have a vision that aligns with the institution's values, particularly in the areas of traditional and applied scholarship, and service to the state. The role requires a leader who can work collaboratively with the administration, deans of other colleges, faculty, and staff to achieve the College's and the University's goals.

Additionally, the Dean will be responsible for developing and cultivating relationships with alumni and potential donors, as well as facilitating outreach to the state.
