Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and capable Dealership Accountant / Assistant Accountant to join our Corporate Finance Team.

This opportunity is open to candidates ranging from Assistant Accountant level through to experienced Dealership Accountants, making it ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their career or an experienced professional seeking a larger and more diverse dealership environment.

About the Role

Working within a high-performing finance team, your responsibilities may include:

• General ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations and journal processing
• Month-end and year-end accounting processes
• Management reporting and financial analysis
• Manufacturer receivables and OEM reconciliations
• Vehicle stock and floorplan reporting
• BAS and compliance activities, assisting with statutory reporting requirements
• Monitoring and supporting dealership performance and profitability with financial analysis
• Identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives

The scope of responsibilities will be tailored to suit your level of experience and development.

Who We're Looking For

You may currently be:

• An Assistant Accountant looking to step into a broader accounting role
• A Junior Accountant seeking greater responsibility and career progression
• An experienced Dealership Accountant wanting exposure to a larger automotive group
• An accounting professional seeking long-term career growth within the automotive industry

To be successful, you will ideally possess:

• Accounting, Commerce or Finance qualifications
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• Strong Excel and systems skills
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

Highly Desirable

• Previous automotive dealership experience
• Exposure to dealership management systems such as Pentana, Titan, Revolution or similar
