Datastage Developer

Job Description Must Have Technical/Functional Skills: Primary Skill: Datastage, CP4D (CloudPak); Secondary: Shell Script; Experience: Minimum 10 Years. Roles & Responsibilities Develop and implement data integration solutions using IBM DataStage and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful application delivery. Optimize ETL processes to enhance data quality and performance.

Experience in DataStage to CloudPak CP4D migration. Identify mismatches in migrated CP4D Jobs. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and application functionality.

Maintain batch jobs and work with project teams toward propagation of changes to all environments as part of each release. Strong experience in Data Quality, Business Rules Validation, Source-Target Mapping Design, Performance Tuning and High-Volume Data Loads. Work closely with Project teams, QA/BA/SME’s/other teams to discuss and understand issues and provide solutions to meet business and technical requirements.

Prior experience and working knowledge in troubleshooting, operating, testing, planning and/or configuring relevant technologies. Setup of new jobs from developer/tester configuration requests. ETL job maintenance and troubleshooting.

Identify and implement system enhancements/improvements and automation. Document procedures and processes clearly. Process automation using Shell Scripts and SQL.
