Data Engineer

We are looking for a Cloud Data Engineer to join one of our clients in Lisbon.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data models within a cloud-based analytics platform built on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and implement data transformation logic using SQL and PySpark.
• Build, orchestrate, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable data processing.
• Integrate new data sources into the analytics ecosystem and support ongoing data onboarding activities.
• Analyze data structures, business processes, and data models within SAP S/4HANA and BW/4HANA environments.

Your Profile

• Solid experience as a Data Engineer in cloud-based analytics or data platform environments.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Azure Databricks and Lakehouse architectures.
• Proven experience in data modeling, ETL/ELT design and development, data integration and transformation.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and BW/4HANA source systems.
• Experience analyzing SAP objects, code, transactions, and business functions.
• Familiarity with traditional SAP tools and development environments.
• Basic knowledge of modern S/4HANA technologies.
• Languages: English C1
