Data Engineer

Data Engineer (Denodo) 6 months contract Hybrid remote working – (occasional on-site workshops in either Telford or Sussex) SC Clearance required Up to £465 p/d An opportunity is available for a Data Engineer with Denodo expertise to join a delivery-focused team working within a government-aligned environment. This is a client-facing role requiring strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and a proactive approach. You will play a key role in delivering integrated data views across connected systems, supporting data migration, and contributing to automation and data processing solutions.

Essential Skills & Experience Strong Denodo experience, including: Virtual Database (VDB) performance optimisation Query delegation and caching strategies Security models, including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills Strong communication skills and proactive working style Good commercial awareness and ability to work within delivery-focused environments Key Responsibilities Work closely with client stakeholders as part of a collaborative delivery team Deliver base and integration views across multiple connected systems Build and optimise data pipelines to support data migration activities Develop, test, and support automation and code solutions Perform complex data transformations and processing using appropriate coding languages
