Senior Commercial Data Analyst

Senior Commercial Data Analyst (Finance focused) Remote (UK Time Zone Alignment) £80,000 – £90,000 Advanced Power BI & DAX required. This is a data architecture and data integrity role — not a basic reporting position. Our client is seeking a senior-level (typically 7-10 years) Power BI / Business Intelligence professional to lead: Data cleansing → Data validation → Data integrity → Single source of truth → Power BI dashboards → Commercial decision support.

If you have only maintained existing dashboards or worked primarily with basic visualisation, this role will not be suitable. What You Will Own · End-to-end Power BI dashboard build (from raw data) · Advanced DAX measures and optimised data models · SQL-based data structuring and transformation · Removal of duplication and manual reporting risk · Validation and reconciliation of datasets to underlying financial outputs · Driver-based KPI frameworks and variance decomposition logic · Commercial dashboards that support real decision-making Non-Negotiable Technical Requirements · Advanced Power BI (hands-on build experience) · Strong DAX proficiency · SQL experience · Power Query (M) · Data modelling expertise · Experience improving messy or fragmented data environments Please only apply if you have advanced, hands-on Power BI and DAX capability.
