The Role: AWS Data Engineer
Location: Lisbon
Work Model: hybrid - 2-3 days a week in the office
Sector: Financial Services
Languages: English (C1)
Eligibility: Currently living in Portugal and be legally authorized to work there
Mandatory Requirements (Non‐Negotiable)
- AWS expertise (S3, ECS, Lambda, RDS, IAM).
- Advanced SQL and data pipeline development.
- Database experience (SQL + unstructured/graph).
- CI/CD with GitHub/GitLab.
- AWS + Snowflake certifications.
- Data Valut (2.0) + Kimball
Nice to have:
- Experience with Snowflake and Tableau.
- Agile mindset, deliver against deadlines with a strong analytical and problem-solving skills, communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud-based data pipelines from sources such as APIs, FTP, and SFTP.
- Transform raw data into structured, usable formats.
- Develop using Python and data libraries (e.g., Pandas, Boto3).
- Orchestrate workflows and manage infrastructure using tools like Airflow/Step Functions and IaC (CloudFormation/Terraform).
