Data Engineer

About the Role We're looking for a strong Data Engineer to extract, transform, and structure data from our existing ERP systems into a clean, reliable data warehouse — laying the foundation for analytics and AI capabilities across the platform. Responsibilities Extract data from ERP databases in MS SQL Server and MariaDB Design and maintain ETL pipelines with scheduled jobs Clean, transform, and structure raw data for downstream use Build data warehouse schema using fact and dimension models Ensure performance, consistency, and reliability across data flows Required Skills Very strong SQL — MS SQL and MariaDB Experience with ETL tools (Airflow / custom Python ETL / Talend or similar) Data modelling — star schema and dimensional modelling Python for data pipelines REST API handling Nice to Have Experience working with ERP data (any ERP) Knowledge of Power BI, Metabase, or Superset Basic understanding of AI/ML data requirements Experience & Qualifications 2–4 years of relevant experience in AI/ML or applied data systems OR B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science, AI, or Data Science from Tier 1/Tier 2 M.Tech / M.Sc in AI or Data Science from Tier 1/Tier What We’re Looking For Self-driven individuals capable of working independently with minimal supervision Strong ability to scope, design, and deliver solutions from scratch A practical, execution-focused mindset with attention to production readiness Ability to work in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments Interest in contributing to a system that will evolve into a core business intelligence platform Compensation This is a initially a project-based role, which will turn into full time based on performance. ₹1.0 - 1.5 Lakh per month Negotiable based on performance, quality of based projects and institution tier.
