AI / ML Engineer

We're Hiring — AI / ML Engineer | ERA LLP | Chennai ERA LLP is a specialist analytics and risk advisory firm. We work at the intersection of data engineering, intelligent automation, and business assurance — delivering enterprise-grade solutions for large healthcare and financial services clients. We are looking for a hands-on AI / ML Engineer to join our growing team and help build production-grade AI components embedded into our data and analytics platform.

What you will do • Design, train, and deploy ML models (classification, anomaly detection, regression) for revenue assurance and exception management use cases • Integrate LLM-based capabilities (summarisation, rule extraction, Q&A) into existing Power BI / Fabric pipelines • Build and maintain feature pipelines on Microsoft Fabric (Bronze → Silver → Gold medallion architecture) • Collaborate with data engineers to ensure ML-ready datasets and model serving endpoints • Document model logic, validation results, and drift monitoring protocols to enterprise standards What we are looking for • 2–5 years of hands-on ML engineering experience (not just research / notebooks) • Proficiency in Python: scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch or TensorFlow, pandas, MLflow • Experience with Azure ML, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric for model training and serving • Solid understanding of model evaluation, explainability (SHAP/LIME), and production monitoring • Exposure to LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI) and prompt engineering is a strong plus • Ability to communicate model outputs and limitations clearly to non-technical stakeholders Nice to have • Experience in healthcare data or financial services / audit contexts • Familiarity with Power BI integration for ML-scored outputs • Knowledge of Microsoft Purview for ML governance Location: Chennai (on-site / hybrid) Engagement: Full-time | Immediate joiners preferred If you thrive at the boundary of data engineering and applied AI, and want your work to have measurable business impact from day one — we want to hear from you.
