Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Data Analyst Trainer.
The Data Analyst Trainer will design and deliver live online sessions and recorded lessons on data analytics, statistics, and data modeling, using real-world examples and industry tools. Responsibilities include creating and updating curriculum materials, assignments, and projects; preparing practical demonstrations in spreadsheets, BI tools, or programming environments; and providing clear explanations of analytical concepts to learners with varying levels of experience. The trainer will evaluate learner performance, give constructive feedback on projects, and offer mentorship on best practices in data analysis and data storytelling.
The role also involves collaborating with the academic team to refine course content, stay current with analytics trends, and continuously improve the learning experience. Qualifications Strong foundation in data-focused disciplines, including Data Analytics and Data Modeling, with experience applying these skills to real-world problems. Solid understanding of Statistics and related quantitative methods used in data analysis and decision-making.
Excellent Analytical Skills, with the ability to break down complex concepts into clear, structured explanations. Effective Communication skills, including the ability to teach, present, and facilitate discussions in a virtual classroom environment. Hands-on experience with common analytics tools (e.g., Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, Python/R, or BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau) is highly beneficial.
Prior teaching, training, mentoring, or coaching experience in data or analytics fields is strongly preferred. Bachelorβs degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or related discipline) or equivalent practical experience. Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and adapt content to diverse learner backgrounds.
