Our client is a well-established local business with a global customer base and a strong people-first culture. They're investing heavily in sustainability and data, and they're looking for a Data Analyst to help drive that forward.

This is an initial 6-month temporary role with a clear pathway to a permanent position. It's a great opportunity to get your foot in the door, prove your impact and grow with the team long term.

What you'll do

• Design and build analytical data models (fact and dimension tables) in Snowflake that the business can rely on
• Develop and optimise pipelines and transformations that bring data from operational systems into the analytics environment
• Build Power BI dashboards that make sustainability performance clear to non-technical colleagues
• Create lightweight analytical tools, such as Streamlit apps, for scenario analysis and deeper exploration
• Own data quality, documentation and traceability across your data products
• Work within the Data Team's DevOps rhythm, including sprint planning, backlog refinement and solution design
• Support colleagues across Compliance, Finance and Procurement with their data needs

What you'll bring

• Experience in analytics engineering, data analysis or a similar role that bridges engineering and analytics
• Strong SQL and hands-on experience with data modelling and pipeline development
• A track record of delivering Power BI reporting for non-technical users
• The ability to turn business questions into well-defined metrics, and to explain data clearly to anyone
• Experience balancing project delivery with business-as-usual reporting
• A genuine passion for sustainability challenges like climate change, waste and modern slavery

Nice to have

• Experience with Streamlit or similar app-building tools, or with reverse-ETL
• Exposure to ESG or regulatory reporting data
• A degree in a quantitative discipline, or equivalent experience
