D365 Finance Functional Consultant

Job Description – D365 Finance Functional Consultant Position: D365 Finance Functional Consultant Experience: 4+ Years Job Summary We are looking for a Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant with 4+ years of experience in implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Finance modules. The candidate will work closely with business users and technical teams to analyse requirements, configure solutions, support testing activities, and ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities • Implement, configure, and support D365 Finance modules including: General Ledger (GL) Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Fixed Assets (FA) Bank Management Cash & Bank Management Budgeting • Conduct requirement gathering sessions, business process analysis, and fit-gap workshops. • Prepare functional design documents and solution specifications. • Collaborate with technical consultants for customizations, integrations, and reporting requirements. • Support data migration activities, including data validation and reconciliation. • Participate in system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and issue resolution. • Deliver end-user training and create user documentation. • Provide post-go-live support and troubleshoot functional issues. • Ensure compliance with financial controls, reporting standards, and local statutory requirements.

Required Skills & Experience • 4+ years of experience as a D365 Finance Functional Consultant. • Strong hands-on experience in D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Finance modules. • Good understanding of finance and accounting business processes. • Experience in requirement gathering, system configuration, and solution design. • Knowledge of data migration, testing methodologies, and UAT support. • Experience working with financial reporting and statutory compliance requirements. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a project environment. Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field. • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant certification is preferred. • Experience in at least one end-to-end D365 F&O implementation project.
