The Customer Experience team is looking for a candidate to fill the role of a Customer Service Representative.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering premier service and support to our customers by, providing timely, accurate, and professional experience.

Hiring Range: $70,000 - $80,000

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing growth and profitability plans for key customer accounts
  • Formulate goals and objectives to improve customer service for key accounts and develop methods to grow business year over year
  • Provide advanced levels of quote follow-up and account analysis with customers and field sales teams
  • Enter orders/releases for high and advanced level of complexity customer accounts and provide confirmations
  • Represent Parker Canada Division as the primary point of contact for all business dealings of assigned accounts, and collaborate cross functionally with support teams (Supply Chain, Pricing, Quality)
  • Enter releases for primarily advanced customer accounts with some high complexity customers
  • Responsible for internal coordination of advanced and moderate contract review activities
  • Issue credits and add bills, works with accounting, TSM and customer to help resolve customer payment issues
  • Responsible for tracking Customer KPI’s for assigned accounts. Creates strategic plan for continuous improvement with customer scorecard ratings
  • Assist customers with utilization of Parker Systems (PH Connect, EDI) with set up and maintenance
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives in daily activities, participate in Kaizen events and High Performance (HPTs) project teams
  • Uphold Corporate and Government compliance policies when providing customer service
  • Understand and support the Parker WIN Strategy

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Applied Technology, Business, Engineering or related field required
  • Minimum 3 years of related work experience in customer service, manufacturing or related field
  • Fluid Power Certificate considered an asset

Skills

  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience working with a CRM platform (Sales Force)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, take ownership, problem-solve, and be proactive in a team environment
  • Ability to adapt to change and act as a change agent
  • Superior follow-up and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Bilingual (English / French) - fluent in both verbal and written communication is an asset
