Franchise Management Inc., is hiring an IT Field Technician to support restaurant technology across multiple regions in Canada, including Atlantic, Central, West, and Quebec. This is a field-based IT role responsible for hands-on installation, upgrades, and on-site technical support across the restaurant network. This role will support new store builds, equipment rollouts, and ongoing technology maintenance across multiple brands.

Responsibilities:

• Install and set up POS systems, networking equipment, and IT hardware in new stores
• Support technology upgrades and national rollout projects
• Provide on-site troubleshooting and support for escalated technical issues
• Assist with equipment staging, delivery, and inventory tracking
• Work in active restaurant environments across your assigned region
• Full-Time, Permanent
• Home-based within assigned region
• Up to 80% travel across assigned territory (including overnight travel)
• Work is primarily field-based in active restaurant locations (not office-based)
• Primarily Monday-Friday schedule, with occasional weekend work based on project needs
• Overnight travel required at times (per company travel policy)
• Occasional evening and weekend work required based on project schedules and store hours
• Use of personal vehicle required for travel between sites

Qualifications:

• IT diploma or equivalent hands-on technical/field experience
• Experience with cabling, low-voltage, or IT installations
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Comfortable working independently in the field and in active restaurant environments
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
