Customer Service Representative

Primary Duties and Responsibilities of our Customer Service Role:

• Provide exceptional customer service and sales to internal and external customers to support the continued growth and profitability of Hertz.
• Create a positive customer experience by engaging confidently and professionally with our customers.
• Complete rental and return transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Promote and sell optional upgrades and cover products
• Check vehicles prior to rental, and upon return
• Accurately enter and complete reservations, including walk ups
• Ensure vehicles meet Hertz presentation standards, including cleaning and detailing when required
• Work collaboratively within a high performing small team
• Maintain a thorough understanding of our fleet

About You

• Proven experience in customer service and sales
• Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and confidence engaging with customers
• Basic computer literacy
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and get the job done
• Enjoy multi-tasking and are highly organised
• Full and current Australian driver’s licence
• Must have Australian work rights
• Automotive or rental industry experience is a plus, but not required (full training provided)
