Customer Service Representative: Foster
The Ottawa Humane Society has been a leader in animal welfare since 1888, making a meaningful impact in the lives of animals and the people who care for them. As part of our team, you’ll contribute to a mission-driven organization where your work directly supports animal welfare in our community. In the role of Customer Service Representative: Foster, you are responsible for supporting the Ottawa Humane Society's foster program by coordinating foster placements, providing exceptional service and support to foster volunteers, and promoting the health and well‑being of animals in foster care.
This role includes matching animals with appropriate foster homes, monitoring animals in care, coordinating veterinary appointments and treatments, and maintaining accurate foster animal records, facilities, and equipment.
$24.02 to $27.01 hourly

Requirements and Qualifications
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent
- Assistant Veterinary Technician certificate, a minimum of one year relevant clinical experience, or a combination thereof
- Minimum of one year experience in customer service
- Experience working closely with, and supporting, volunteers is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Professional working proficiency in spoken and written English is required
