About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Customer Service Assistant to join our passionate team at Wanneroo Aquamotion and Kingsway Indoor Stadium. The successful appointee will be responsible for:
- Providing a high level of Customer Service to the City of Wanneroo and surrounding community.
- Acting as a first point of contact for customers, continuing to make a positive impact on the community’s health and wellbeing.
- Responding to enquiries, booking requests, membership sales and customer feedback relating to the leisure facility via email, phone and social media.
- Supporting and conducting general administration processes.
- Being part of a team that provides a positive place to work for all colleagues.
About You
As a collaborative member of the Customer Service team, the position is accountable for providing a high level of Customer Service to the members and patrons of Wanneroo Aquamotion and Kingsway Indoor Stadium.
The successful appointee must be adaptable, values driven and proactive. They must also thrive working in a very busy and change‑driven organisation. As such, applicants must be able to demonstrate through their CV and covering letter that they meet the following capabilities:
- Advanced customer service skills, with experience in a similar role.
- Experience in a leisure facility (desirable).
- Experience using point of sale and booking system software.
- Experience with cash handling and daily banking requirements.
- Strong communication skills, confident in the efficient utilisation of information systems and technology.
- Knowledge of safe‑working practices and Occupational Health and Safety in the workplace.
- Willingness to work at other locations across the City if it is operationally required, including Wanneroo Aquamotion (Wanneroo) and Kingsway Indoor Stadium (Madeley).
Special Requirements
This is a casual position with no set weekly hours or guaranteed shifts. Applicants must be flexible and able to work outside of normal business hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
