We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Deductions Analyst to join our team. They will oversee Food Service deductions, manage non-trade deduction processes, and support timely, accurate resolution through reporting, system management, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Responsibility Act as a main point of contact for non‑trade deductions, reviewing validity, working with various departments to collect backup and disputing invalid deductions. Manage non‑trade deduction flow through Trade Management System, determine root causes and provide recommendations for process improvement and streamlining opportunities. Analyze monthly non‑trade data to identify customer trends and determine opportunities for process improvement.
Monitor outstanding customer repayments related to non‑trade deductions, working with stakeholders to ensure timely repayments and coordinate transactions between departments to resolve any issues. Manage customer portals, obtaining backup for deductions and logging dispute tickets as they occur. Assist in overseeing the non‑trade deduction system and document SOPs to support scalable departmental growth.
Qualifications Degree or diploma in Business, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or Business Analytics. 1-2 years of relevant experience in an analytical, customer service, or business support role. Strong communicator, skilled at translating data insights for internal teams and effectively communicating with external customers to drive resolution. Demonstrate above‑average attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical skills.
Advanced Excel skills and experience working in an ERP. Experience with Trade Management Software is considered an asset.
