Job Overview Join our Training Team and play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering modern training and crew solutions for major maritime and naval projects, most notably the Royal Canadian Navy’s River Class Destroyer (RCD) program. Fleetway is driving the integration of combat and platform systems for the sailors who will operate the future RCD fleet. Our approach to learning and crew design emphasizes the use of effective media and technology solutions that are efficient, accessible, and rooted in sound, proven practices. We focus on training technologies and analytical approaches that deliver measurable performance outcomes, meeting both high‑level organizational requirements and the individual learning needs of sailors. The Crewing Analyst works within the RCD Personnel & Training (P&T) Team, applying operational experience and analytical expertise to develop data‑driven crewing strategies and occupational analyses that support crew readiness and long‑term fleet performance. Responsibilities Analyzing RCD crew activity in relation to missions, jobs, roles, functions, and tasks Identifying new tasks and tasks no longer required for the RCD when compared to the HALIFAX Class Developing and substantiating crew modularity options using research, analysis, and operational insight Supporting OAPR development through structured analysis and documentation Collaborating with data analysts, technical analysts, and task leads to deliver integrated solutions Continuously identifying opportunities to improve processes, analytical methods, and customer deliverables Conducting technical research, engaging RCN Subject Matter Experts (via the PMO), and liaising with industry partners as required Independently resolving problems using initiative, professional judgment, and operational experience Qualifications Minimum 10 years of Royal Canadian Navy experience Halifax Class Director Qualified preferred Minimum rank Lt(N) or PO1 (or equivalent experience and qualifications) Demonstrated experience supporting or contributing to complex naval or defence projects Experience with project management methodologies Proven technical writing skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Assets Experience in personnel analysis, training systems, or occupational analysis Familiarity with modern naval platforms or future fleet projects Experience working with multi‑disciplinary teams and external stakeholders Benefits The successful candidate will receive a starting salary based on their applicable experience and demonstrated knowledge, skill, and abilities.
