We are currently seeking and have an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of *Counter Sales *based out of *Surrey, BC *location *(101, 9725 ‑ 192 Street, Surrey, BC V4N 4C7).*

*POSITION OVERVIEW*

We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused professional to support both branch sales and warehouse operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring seamless daily operations—from assisting customers and processing orders to maintaining accurate inventory and coordinating shipments.

*RESPONSIBILITIES *

* Respond to customer inquiries via in-person, phone, and email with professionalism and technical expertise * Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate products, pricing, availability, and alternative solutions * Present alternatives and solutions considering pricing, specifications, compatibility, and availability * Provide reliable updates on product availability, shipment status, and delivery timelines * Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely fulfillment and resolve issues * Help maintain an organized, stocked, and professional counter & storefront area * Build and maintain strong relationships with new and repeat customers * Support with shipping, receiving, inventory counts and maintain accurate system information * Uphold company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional branch presence * Perform other branch and counter-related duties as assigned

*QUALIFICATIONS *

* 2+ years of experience in Industrial MRO, fasteners, components, or related environment is required * Strong customer service skills with a professional, positive attitude * Experience operating warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools would be an asset * Clear and effective communication skills * Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously * Solid problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy * Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team * Honest, dependable, and punctual with a proactive work ethic * Capable of following written instructions, safety procedures, and documented processes * Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel), and ERP/order entry systems * Working knowledge of business math including pricing, measurements, ratios, etc

Pay: $45,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
