Controls Engineering and Optimization Specialist

Become a key player in plant operations as a Controls Engineering and Optimization Specialist. Your role centers around maximizing efficiency through the design and maintenance of control systems. Reporting to Maintenance, you are tasked with maintaining, designing, and optimizing instrumentation and controls systems.

Analyzing critical data and managing lifecycle planning will be pivotal in achieving long-term reliability. You will also collaborate with various multidisciplinary teams to implement engineering projects within budget and schedule, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities: • Troubleshoot issues in SCADA, DCS, and PLC systems • Analyze control systems data for process improvements • Configure and install control system components • Document DCS configurations and maintenance activities • Lead efforts in process hazard analyses for safety enhancements Requirements: • Bachelor’s in instrumentation control or software engineering • 5+ years experience with DCS and PLC systems • Familiar with industrial communications including Modbus • Knowledgeable in advanced process control techniques • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Utilize your skills in instrumentation and control systems to drive operational success. #J-18808-Ljbffr
