About the role We are looking for a Senior Controller to build and run the controllership of an international operation with multiple entities, currencies and partners.

You will organize the monthly close, consolidate results and build the controls that support the company's growth. The role requires technical depth, autonomy and hands-on execution, working with the treasury, operations, compliance and technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Run the monthly accounting and financial close by entity and on a consolidated basis.
• Reconcile balances and transactions across multiple currencies, including intercompany, and resolve breaks.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports, analyzing results, cash flow and margins by product and entity.
• Define and document accounting policies for revenue recognition, foreign currency and digital assets.
• Coordinate external audits and local accounting firms, ensuring consistency across entities and compliance with each jurisdiction's requirements.
• Lead regulatory financial reporting together with compliance and local advisors.
• Build financial processes and controls for new entities and jurisdictions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 7+ years in accounting, audit or controllership, with experience at a Big Four firm or at a payments, FX or fintech company.
• Hands-on US GAAP expertise, especially revenue recognition and foreign currency.
• Experience reconciling payments across multiple currencies.
• Advanced English, spoken and written.
• Willingness to execute, not just review, prioritizing by materiality and risk.
