The Role:
This role is ideal for an experienced Contracts Administrator or Contract Coordinator with a background in off-the-plan residential property or house and land developments.
Working closely with the Director and wider project team, you will manage the contract administration process from contract preparation and exchange through to settlement and handover. You will work closely with purchasers, solicitors, sales agents, builders and other key stakeholders to ensure contracts progress smoothly and all parties remain informed throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the contract administration process from contract preparation through to settlement and handover.
- Coordinate the preparation, issue, execution and exchange of contracts.
- Liaise directly with solicitors regarding contract amendments, special conditions, clauses and contract requirements.
- Act as a key point of contact for purchasers throughout the contract and settlement process.
- Understand and manage the differences between off-the-plan and house and land contracts.
- Review contracts and identify key clauses, conditions, deadlines and requirements.
- Track contract progress, finance approvals, settlements and key milestones.
- Coordinate with sales agents, solicitors, purchasers, builders and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and track progress payment invoices and receipts where required.
- Provide regular project, construction and settlement updates to purchasers.
- Maintain accurate contract and project records across internal systems, including Monday.com.
- Support the broader project team with contract and development administration as required.
- Assist with improving internal processes and ensuring a seamless experience for purchasers and stakeholders.
About You:
You'll ideally come from a Contracts Administration, Contract Coordination or Sales Administration background within residential property development, with experience across:
- Off-the-plan residential contracts
- House and land contracts
- Contract preparation, exchange and administration
- Solicitor and conveyancer liaison
- Purchaser and client liaison
- Understanding contract clauses, special conditions and key contractual obligations
- Managing contracts through to settlement
- Residential development or property administration
Experience in house and land or off-the-plan development contracts is required.
