CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR | BRISBANE

• $150K+ super, depending on experience

A Tier 1 leading Australian construction group is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join the project team delivering a major $135M+ specialist healthcare development in inner Brisbane. Currently under construction, the project comprises a 10-storey, 13,000m² specialist healthcare facility incorporating day surgery, radiology, radiation oncology, cancer care, allied health and specialist consulting facilities. This is a technically complex, services-intensive project offering excellent exposure through construction, fit-out, commissioning and handover.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager / Senior Contract Administrator, responsibilities will include:

• Trade procurement, tender packages and detailed Scope of Works
• Subcontract establishment and administration
• Progress claims, variations and payment schedules
• Cost reporting, commitments, budgets and forecasting
• Identification of commercial, contractual and scope risks
• Commercial management of allocated trade packages
• Liaison with subcontractors, consultants, design and site teams
• Coordination of services, specialist healthcare and architectural packages
• Supporting project delivery through to completion and close-out
• Providing guidance to project Cadets where required

What We're Looking For

• Approximately 4+ years' Contract Administration experience
• Degree or Associate Diploma in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or related discipline
• Major commercial building experience
• Strong subcontract procurement and administration capabilityExperience with variations, progress claims, cost reporting and forecasting
• Strong commercial, communication and organisational skills
• Healthcare, hospital, laboratory or other services-intensive project experience highly regarded, but not essential
