Construction Procurement Manager – Contracts & Sourcing

We are seeking a Commercial Construction Procurement & Contracts Manager to lead sourcing, contracting, and supplier management for large-scale commercial construction projects, including new builds, remodels, and infrastructure upgrades. Reporting to the VP of Construction Services, this role is responsible for driving cost-effective procurement strategies, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management while ensuring projects stay on schedule, within budget, and aligned with company standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead procurement strategy for construction materials, services, and subcontractors Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers, vendors, and contractors Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure cost savings and compliance Oversee procurement for new builds, renovations, and capital projects Ensure timely delivery of materials aligned with project schedules Collaborate with project managers, engineering, and finance teams Manage supplier performance, risk mitigation, and vendor redundancy Conduct market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and innovations Support RFPs, bid analysis, and contract lifecycle management Mentor and support junior procurement staff Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Supply Chain, Business, or related field 5+ years of experience in commercial construction procurement or sourcing Experience with new builds, renovations, and large construction projects Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor management skills Deep understanding of construction materials, timelines, and cost control Ability to manage multiple contracts and stakeholders Preferred: CPSM, PMP, or related certification Experience sourcing specialized construction equipment or subcontractors What We Offer: Competitive compensation based on experience Medical, Dental, Vision & Wellness benefits 401(k) with company match Paid time off & holidays Career growth and tuition reimbursement
