Job Description
A Configuration Management Associate at Transport for NSW will support the delivery of reliable services by ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date configuration records and managing change requests. The role involves analysing impact, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement of configuration management practices.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update configuration records to ensure accurate, complete and up‑to‑date system and asset information.
- Review and validate change requests, assessing customer impacts, technical risks and dependencies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain data integrity, generate insights, and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with configuration management standards and effectively manage change processes.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in managing IT assets and configuration items.
- Solid ITIL/ITSM knowledge and ability to maintain accurate records in complex, multi‑source environments.
- Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies, interpret configuration data and contribute to improvement.
- Experience with ServiceNow software.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, service providers and stakeholders; work autonomously while ensuring compliance with standards.
