Computer Engineer

A reputed NSE/BSE Stock Broking Firm based in Mumbai invites applications for the post of Computer Engineer / IT System Administrator. The candidate will independently manage the firm's IT ecosystem and must be based in Mumbai.

Experience: Minimum 3–6 years (Stock Broking / Financial Services - IT experience preferred)

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Computer Engineering/IT or equivalent

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Hardware Management

• Maintenance, troubleshooting & upkeep of desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, UPS, and other peripherals
• Hardware procurement, installation, and vendor coordination for AMC/repairs
• Management of leased lines, routers, switches, and related connectivity hardware

Software Management

• Installation, configuration & maintenance of operating systems, antivirus, office suites, and other applications used by the firm
• Timely software updates, patches, and license renewals
• Troubleshooting of software issues across all departments

Front Office

• Operation & maintenance of NSE/BSE trading terminals and related trading platforms (NEAT, GREEK, DATAMAN, etc.)
• Ensuring uninterrupted trading connectivity during market hours
• Coordination with exchanges and vendors for terminal-related issues, upgrades, and certifications

Back Office

• Administration and support for back-office software (settlement, contract notes, client reporting, MIS)
• Data backups, restoration, and disaster recovery procedures
• Report generation and data extraction as required by management

Administration & Compliance

• Assistance in system audits (internal & statutory) and cybersecurity audits
• Ensuring IT compliance with SEBI, NSE, BSE, and CDSL/NSDL circulars and guidelines
• Maintenance of IT documentation, logs, asset registers, and audit trails
• Filing and tracking of regulatory IT compliance requirements
• Coordination with auditors, compliance officers, and regulatory bodies on IT-related matters

LAN & Server Management

• Network design, configuration, and administration (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi)
• Server administration, monitoring, and maintenance
• Firewall, VPN, and security management
• Internet and email infrastructure management
