Commissioning Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Commissioning Engineer located in Chennai Poonamallee. The Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for electrical and mechanical testing, commissioning industrial furnaces and ovens, troubleshooting, and ensuring optimal functioning of equipment. The individual will work closely with the engineering team to deliver high-quality results and adhere to project schedules. The candidate will be responsible for installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of heat treatment furnaces at site , with strong knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems .

Key Responsibilities: ✔ Site installation and commissioning of furnaces and related equipment ✔ Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems at site ✔ Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during commissioning ✔ Coordination with design, production, and customer teams ✔ Ensuring smooth handover and customer satisfaction ✔ Travel to customer sites as required Experience Required: 2 – 10 years (preferably in furnace / industrial equipment industry) Skills Required: ✔ Knowledge of electrical panels, wiring, and controls ✔ Mechanical assembly and system understanding ✔ Problem-solving and on-site decision-making skills ✔ Good communication and customer handling optional PLC SCADA experience
