Duties & Responsibilities

Month-End Financial Close

Conduct completeness and accuracy reviews of global revenue and sales adjustments in full SOX compliance

Calculate and assess deferred revenue adjustments across all sales channels in line with accounting standards

Provide backup support for the global sales close, including sales verification, discrepancy reconciliation, performance vs. latest estimate (LE) analysis, and timely close execution

Report gross and net sales results by channel and store, ensuring data integrity and accuracy

Prepare and analyze Global Retail P&L statements, identifying trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers

Lead Global Retail Returns Reporting, analyzing return rates, root causes, quarterly provisions, and financial impact

Deliver quarterly OPEX dashboards to VP, Commercial, providing clear insights into selling, marketing, and capital spend

Prepare and submit revenue reporting to Estée Lauder Companies (ELC)

Budgeting & Forecasting

Prepare and analyze Global Retailer budget P&Ls, assessing Sales, OPEX, and Net Operating Profit (NOP) versus prior year

Develop Gross-to-Net budget templates with year-over-year analysis of discounts, deductions, and sales impacts

Manage monthly Global Retailer estimate P&Ls, providing performance insights versus Plan to senior leadership

Audit & Controls

Maintain strong financial controls and documentation to ensure governance and SOX compliance

Support internal and external audit reviews and facilitate audit and controls meetings

Other

Execute ad hoc financial analysis and projects in support of the FP&A function

Qualifications

Experience in CPG and/or wholesale/retail environments preferred

Strong accounting, revenue management, and financial reporting expertise

Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and modeling skills

Highly collaborative, with experience partnering cross-functionally in a global environment

Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and deliver on commitments

Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments with comfort navigating ambiguity and change

Results-oriented with a strong drive to meet or exceed goals

Education in Finance or Accounting (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) or equivalent experience considered an asset
