The successful candidate will be responsible for business development, relationship management, and portfolio growth, particularly with C&I and operating company relationships. This role demands an experienced commercial lender who can quickly integrate, bring or transition relationships, and build a sustainable pipeline. Key responsibilities include developing and executing a calling strategy, managing a consistent pipeline, and structuring relationships for long-term retention and profitability. The role also involves proactive portfolio management, strong credit quality, and a deep understanding of client operations and industries. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years' of commercial lending or relationship management experience, with a preference for those from a community bank environment. They should have a proven track record in business development, managing a pipeline, and growing loans and deposits, particularly in the C&I space. Strong credit judgment, the ability to structure practical, policy-aligned deals, and a self-directed, disciplined work style are essential. The role requires a leader with a strong presence, capable of mentoring junior lenders and contributing to a collaborative team culture.

A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, along with formal credit training and/or prior credit analyst experience. The candidate should be adept at working in a high-autonomy, results-oriented environment and be willing to engage in local market travel for client meetings and business development.
