The team serves a wide range of facilities, including healthcare, data centers, commercial office buildings, K–12 and higher education, and municipalities. Technicians work on diverse systems such as packaged rooftop units, chilled water air handlers, pumps, chillers, outside air units, exhaust systems, VRV/VRF systems, and commercial refrigeration equipment.
Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site Service Technician role based in the San Antonio, Texas Metropolitan Area. The Service Technician will perform diagnostic assessments, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment across a variety of facility types. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting system issues, completing scheduled preventive maintenance, installing or replacing units and components, and verifying safe and efficient operation of all serviced systems.
The role involves traveling to customer sites, documenting work performed, maintaining accurate service records, and communicating clearly with clients and internal teams about findings, recommendations, and next steps. The technician will also follow safety protocols, adhere to company and industry standards, and support a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Strong maintenance and repair capabilities, including Maintenance & Repair and Maintenance skills for
commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
Proficient Troubleshooting skills to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues in complex
equipment.
Field Service experience, including working independently at customer sites, managing schedules, and
completing detailed service reports.
Customer Service skills to communicate clearly with clients, explain technical issues in accessible terms, and maintain professional relationships.
Relevant technical training or certification in HVAC/R, mechanical systems, or a related field; EPA refrigerant handling certification preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
Comfort working in a variety of commercial environments and conditions, including rooftop and mechanical room settings.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to meet any required background and safety checks.
