Commercial Credit Analyst (Doral)

This is a banking position- current or prior banking industry experience is required This role supports the bank’s commercial and commercial real estate lending teams by analyzing and underwriting loan requests, evaluating credit risk, and assisting with portfolio management. This opportunity is ideal for a junior credit professional with prior banking experience who is looking to grow within a commercial lending environment while gaining exposure to complex credit analysis and loan structuring. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Analyze and underwrite new and renewed commercial and commercial real estate loan requests Perform detailed financial analysis of business and personal financial statements, tax returns, and cash flows Conduct credit investigations including credit reports, UCC searches, and reference verifications Review deal structures and evaluate loan viability, including collateral and repayment sources Assist relationship managers and credit officers in structuring loans and determining appropriate risk ratings Prepare loan approval memos and credit presentations for internal loan committee review Support portfolio management by tracking maturity dates, concentration limits, and annual credit reviews Maintain accurate and up-to-date credit files and documentation Collaborate with accountants, financial professionals, and internal lending teams during underwriting and closing Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred 1–3+ years of banking experience required , preferably in credit analysis or commercial lending support Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis and commercial credit fundamentals Ability to analyze complex financial information and identify potential credit risks Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial spreading tools Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with lending teams
