CNA - Omaha Specialty Rehabilitation Hospital 7p-7a (24 hrs)

Madonna Rehabilitation Specialty Hospital - As an intermediary step from an intensive care unit in acute care, this hospital level of care focuses on medical stabilization and rehabilitation of patients with complex conditions, chronic illness or catastrophic injury. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Attend shift report at beginning and end of each shift to ensure good communication between nursing members * Assists patients with activities of daily living which may include dressing, feeding, bathing or any other hygiene needs * Assists the bedside nurse (RN or LPN) with patient treatment and examinations * Takes vital, documents status and gives treatment as directed by Registered Nurse * Participates in patient discharge planning * Performs other related projects and duties as assigned SKILLS & ABILITIES: * Strong commitment & dedication to Madonna and the patients we serve * Friendly, caring and professional demeanor to achieve an excellent patient/customer experience for individuals going through difficult experiences * Excellent communication skills * Ability to learn quickly and adapt to challenging situations * Desire to make a difference in the lives of rehabilitation patients and their families EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: * 18 year of age * Successful completion of the 75-hour state approved nurse aide training program * Active Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in good standing in Nebraska _Madonna provides a professional work environment free from discrimination and harassment, including sexual harassment.
