Job Description Job Description SUMMARY: The Clinical Sales Consultant will strategically & clinically drive sales opportunities and close new business at ABOUT Healthcare. This sales team member will partner with the Clinical Solutions Consultant and the Marketing/Sales Enablement team to receive & move marketing qualified leads into and through the sales pipeline to closed won opportunities. Throughout the process, the Clinical Sales Consultant will engage prospective hospital personnel (i.e., case management leaders, clinicians, nurse leadership, administrators) to align healthcare operational goals and needs with ABOUT Healthcare software solutions, differentiators, and value drivers.

The Clinical Solutions Consultant will drive the entire sales strategy & process throughout the sales cycle to win new business with sales tactics including sales presentations & demonstrations, clinical & business discussions, value creation, commercial term setting, and negotiations. Any salary range listed for this role represents an estimated base salary only and does not include bonuses, incentives, or other forms of additional compensation. MQL Conversion to Sales Pipeline: Partner with Clinical Solutions Consultant and the Marketing/Sales Enablement team on seamless handoffs of Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL). Validate the attributes of the MQL: appropriate buyer personas engaged, problem to solve identified, and a confirmed interest in learning more.

Ensure lead transfer into pipeline and begin sales motions. Sales Qualified Leads: Work identified opportunities through clinical sales process by ensuring interest, engagement, and willingness to explore solutions. Drive sales discussion to ensure Sales Qualification (SQL): continued interest in solving problems with ABOUT Healthcare solutions, value creation identified, differentiated values aligned, buyer personas engaged, and buying & budgeting cycles identified, aligned to sales timeline.

Qualified Pipeline Advancement: Drive opportunities through lower pipeline pursuits, ensuring a trusted partnership, clinical thought leadership, and value creation that translates to ongoing interest and commercial sales discussions. Clinical Engagement: Engage prospective clients in clinical discussions to demonstrate ABOUT Healthcare's differentiated value proposition and address workflow pain points. Engage Clinical Solutions Consultants & Clinical Outcomes Engineers to share experience and clinical expertise to gain credibility and trust to deepen relationships and progress sales.

Solution Mapping: Translate prospect clinical workflows into opportunities to drive optimization and improvements with ABOUT Healthcare solutions. Align solutions benefits and value to prospects’ clinical, operational, and financial objectives. Stay abreast of solution features, differentiated value propositions, and competitive products & position in the market.

Engage Clinical Solutions Consultant, Clinical Outcomes Engineers, and the Marketing / Sales Enablement team for subject matter expertise. Sales Motions and Solution Demonstrations: Conduct & lead sales calls, meetings, discussions, and solution demonstrations. Establish sales strategies and align prospect needs to value based sales presentations and solution demonstrations to strengthen credibility and accelerate decision-making.

Partner with Clinical Solutions Consultant for value-based customer solution demonstrations. Lead & drive all sales strategies and activities; engage subject matter experts across the organization when needed. Winning Sales Opportunities: Drive the sales opportunities through final sales stages with continued prospect alignment on problems to solve, solution mapping, value delivery & ROI, and commercial terms.

Drive strategic negotiations, pricing and contract terms, and implementation timing with support from appropriate ELT members. Work independently or with key members of the ELT to win sales opportunities. Market Insight: Maintain a strong understanding of hospital operations, case management processes, and HCIT systems (including EHRs) to inform strategic engagement.

Strategic Planning: Support the go-to-market, sales support, and demand/lead generation planning & improvement projects. Demand Generation Strategies: Collaborate with Clinical Solutions Consultants and the Marketing/Sales Enablement team to define targets and build & refine strategies to acquire new leads (i.e., 3rd party BDR entities, industry events). Travel: Up to 50% to support demand/lead generation and sales support initiatives.

Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Need to Have: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or relevant clinical degree or experience. Clinical or healthcare system experience. Experience working in a sales or pre-sales roles such as sales representative, clinical solutions, pre-sales, or sales engineer.

Proven ability to engage health system leaders, hospital personnel, and case managers in consultative discussions. Familiarity with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.). Strong communication skills and business acumen.

Ability to travel up to 50% Nice to Have: Experience working in SaaS or medical sales. Experience working in a private equity-funded, growth organization. Experience working with healthcare providers, payers, or patients.
