Freelance Clinical Research Associate (CRA) – Portugal

Upsilon Global is seeking a Freelance Clinical Research Associate (CRA) on behalf of an established mid-sized CRO to join their Clinical Operations team in Portugal.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and report on all types of on-site monitoring visits.
• Support study start-up activities.
• Perform CRF review, source data verification (SDV), and query resolution.
• Manage investigator sites and maintain regular site communication.
• Act as a key point of contact for internal support teams and external vendors.
• Communicate study progress with internal project teams.
• Participate in feasibility assessments.
• Support the Regulatory team with the preparation of study submission documentation.

Requirements

• Degree in Life Sciences or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Independent on-site monitoring experience in Portugal.
• Experience in Oncology or Gastroenterology is beneficial.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong planning, multitasking, and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel.
