Job DescriptionClinical Nurse Manager 2 (CNM2) Medical, Oncology & Cardiology Ward Dublin | Full-Time Permanent Take the Next Step in Your Nursing Leadership Career This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care, leading high-performing teams, and driving clinical excellence within a modern acute hospital environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and inspire the nursing team, ensuring the highest standards of clinical care and patient safety. Manage the day-to-day operations of the ward, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
Support workforce planning, resource management and budgetary oversight. Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives and contribute to service development projects. Ensure nursing practice reflects current research, evidence-based standards and best practice guidelines.
Coordinate patient flow and support effective bed management to optimise patient journeys. Collaborate with medical consultants, multidisciplinary teams and senior management to achieve positive patient outcomes. Maintain accurate clinical, operational and administrative documentation.
Monitor ward resources, equipment and stock levels, identifying opportunities for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
