Clinical Nurse II: C2

Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system renowned for combining a top-tier hospital with a distinguished medical college, is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse II: C2 to enhance our patient care services. This role is pivotal in implementing our mission of exceptional medical education, pioneering biomedical research, and the provision of comprehensive healthcare. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will work in a dynamic environment where your skills will be crucial in delivering high-quality care tailored to patient needs.

Provide direct nursing care to patients in a specified unit while adhering to nursing standards and protocols. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to facilitate integrated, patient-centered care. Participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor responses. Educate patients and families on health care needs, conditions, options etc. Maintain complete and accurate patient records as required by hospital policies and legal regulations.

Participate in clinical training programs and assist in the supervision of new staff and students. Proficiency in patient assessment and triage Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Capability to operate standard medical equipment Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice. BLS/CPR certification.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
