The Role
As Clinic Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and performance of a specialist renal dialysis unit.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, mentoring, and developing clinical and support teams.
- Ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.
- Managing clinic operations, resources, staffing, and service delivery.
- Driving quality improvement initiatives and maintaining regulatory compliance.
- Managing financial performance and resource utilisation.
- Developing education and training plans for clinical staff.
- Supporting service development and operational excellence.
- Ensuring compliance with HIQA standards and relevant healthcare regulations.
- Building a positive, patient-focused culture that promotes clinical excellence and teamwork.
Candidates must demonstrate significant experience within renal services.
Required
- Registered Nurse with active NMBI registration.
- Minimum 5 years post-registration nursing experience.
- Minimum 3 years' experience working specifically in Renal Care/Dialysis Services (essential).
- Experience leading, managing, or supervising healthcare teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- Financial and operational management experience within a healthcare setting.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive service improvements.
Preferred
- Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Renal Nursing, or willingness to undertake upon appointment.
- Experience in business development, service growth, or healthcare operations.
