I'm delighted to be partnering with a highly respected specialist litigation team to recruit an experienced Claims Handler into its established Hearing Loss & Industrial Disease department.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Claims Handler looking to specialise in claimant litigation. The Role

You'll play a key role in progressing hearing loss and industrial disease claims while working closely with solicitors, medical experts and clients throughout the litigation process.

Initially, you'll support the existing team before taking increasing responsibility for your own files as your experience and knowledge develop.

Key responsibilities include:

• Progressing hearing loss and industrial disease claims from instruction through to resolution.
• Building strong relationships with clients and providing regular updates throughout the claims process.
• Obtaining and reviewing medical, employment and other evidential records.
• Liaising with medical experts, Counsel, insurers and third parties.
• Preparing legal correspondence and case documentation.
• Maintaining accurate case management records and ensuring procedural deadlines are met.
• Managing your workload effectively while progressing towards independently handling your own caseload.

About You

You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Claims Handler or within a legal, insurance or claims environment.
• Experience handling personal injury, liability or litigation claims would be advantageous.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication, negotiation and client care skills.
• A proactive approach, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• The ambition to develop specialist expertise within industrial disease litigation.
