Overview
In this role you deliver innovative clean water and wastewater projects as part of Pick Everard’s Water Civil Engineering team. You contribute to projects for major water companies, collaborating with clients and contractors across the UK. The role combines design, feasibility, and project delivery with mentorship and clear paths for growth.

- Undertake analysis and assist in outline and detailed design development, drawings, reports, calculations, specifications, and contract documents under supervision
- Assess feasibility of options to deliver wastewater and/or clean water infrastructure across multiple UK regions
- Assist in project management from feasibility to completion with an understanding of finances
- Deliver discrete work packages accurately within set timescales
- Attend meetings with senior staff; perform site inspections and surveys
- Supervise Technicians and CAD technicians on day-to-day tasks
- Contribute to on-time, on-budget project delivery and quality assurance
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements, practices, and procedures
- BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with an interest in water engineering
- Ambition to achieve IEng or CEng
- Some experience with a consultancy or contractor environment (desirable)
- Solid understanding of engineering principles, hydraulic analysis, and water/wastewater treatment processes (desirable)
- Familiarity with Health & Safety legislation (CDM) and CAD
- Strong written communication for drawings, reports, and letters
