Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to support the design and delivery of site development, municipal, transportation, and airport infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have 6–10 years of consulting engineering experience and strong expertise in civil design, project coordination, permitting, and construction administration. The role offers opportunities to take ownership of project tasks, communicate with clients, and mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare conceptual, preliminary, and final civil engineering designs and construction plans.
• Design and coordinate grading, drainage, storm water, utilities, pavement, erosion control, and site development projects.
• Develop plans and design solutions using Auto Cad Civil 3D.
• Apply applicable local, state, federal, FDOT, FAA, and permitting requirements.
• Prepare permit applications and respond to agency review comments.
• Support construction administration, including submittal reviews, RFIs, field observations, and project closeout.
• Assist with proposals, fee estimates, scopes of work, and client presentations.

Required Qualifications:

• BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program preferred.
• Hands-on experience of progressive civil engineering experience, preferably in consulting.
• Experience with site development, municipal, transportation, or aviation infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency in Auto Cad Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of grading, drainage, storm water management, utilities, pavement, erosion control, and civil infrastructure design.
• Florida PE license preferred, or EIT required for candidates who are not PE licensed.
