Chartered Accountant

Company Description Face O’Clock is a young skincare startup focused on honest, high-performance products that are clean, transparent, and youth-centric.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Hyderabad.

Accounts:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
• Overseeing statutory compliance, GST, TDS, and other tax filings, as well as coordinating with auditors and consultants.
• Stock Verifications.
• Oversee proper implementation of Zoho applications for maximising automations.

Financial Analysis:

• Handle budgeting, cash flow planning, and management reporting to support decision-making and business growth.
• Implementing and improving internal controls, reviewing vendor and customer accounts, and partnering with cross-functional teams such as operations, marketing, and supply chain to ensure accurate financial tracking.
• Contribute to financial forecasts, cost analysis, and profitability reviews for products and channels (website, Ecom, QCom).
• Devise and implement SOPs for smooth functioning of all the verticals of the business.

Alliances:

• Find and close MOUs with other Brands forging alliances and partnerships.

Qualifications

• A Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Comfort with Zoho ecosystem, MS Office, Google Sheets, and basic financial analysis tools; experience with e-commerce or FMCG accounting is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Prior experience in a startup, consumer brand, or skincare/beauty sector is a plus.

CTC: ₹6,00,000-8,00,000 depending on the experience.
