Change Management Manager

Job Description
About the role
You are accountable for the model itself — that it works, that it is documented, and that it earns the right to scale. Help select the rest of the squad. A team assembled before its manager arrives inherits someone else’s judgement about fit, and this manager will be held accountable for the D+90 recommendation either way.
What you'll do
- Own the playbook: define the methodology, document it, and enforce quality on it across both pilots.
- Protect the squad from being used as generic capacity. Refuse work that does not move partner adoption, and make that refusal visible rather than quiet.
- Manage senior individual contributors who work outside the building — a genuinely different problem from managing a co-located team.
- Hold nine pillar owners to commitments they did not originally make.
- Help select every other seat on the squad. Fit is your call, not a hand-me-down.
- Know at day 60 whether the pilot is going to fail — leading indicators, not lagging ones — and be willing to recommend stopping.
- Treat your calendar as a lever: more time from this leader on the programme moves success probability more than a budget increase of similar size.
What you'll need
- Strong experience in transformation leadership, consulting practice management, or a senior commercial role carrying a change portfolio.
- Experience managing senior individual contributors who work outside the building.
- Executive influence across functional boundaries; able to hold senior owners to commitments they did not originally make.
- Methodology ownership: able to define a playbook and enforce quality on it.
- Strong English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
Desirable
- Has built a team from zero before.
- Change-management certification (Prosci, CCMP, APMG or HCMBOOK) — for credibility with the practitioners they will manage, not as a gate.
More about you
- You manage remotely without surveilling.
- You kill work that does not move adoption.
- Strong sounds like: leading indicators at day 60, and a willingness to recommend stopping.
