Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Location: Hot Springs, SD Position Type: Full-Time Shifts: Evening & Night Shift Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Pay Range: $35,360.00 to $41,000.00 per annum Job Summary: The Certified Nursing Assistant performs supervised tasks related to the delivery of health and personal care and activities for the residents at the Center. The goal is to promote optimal health, comfort, and maintain functional ability while contributing to the overall rehabilitative goals and objectives as outlined in the resident plan of care. Minimum Qualifications: Education/Experience: Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant through the South Dakota Board of Nursing.

Technical Skills: Must have current South Dakota Certification, or obtain certification within 4 months of employment. Must meet the physical requirements of the position as defined in the role summary. Essential Functions: Exhibit behaviors consistent with the mission, philosophy, and values of the Facility.

Assess residents' daily care needs and assist with personal/rehabilitative cares as outlined in individualized care plans, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, shaving, oral hygiene, toileting, bed making, positioning, and assisting with transfers and ambulation. Answer call lights, assist with feeding and meal preparation, and ensure proper use of mechanical equipment. Complete documentation accurately and timely.

Conduct assessments and deliver care considering the resident's choices, privacy, dignity, independence, and rehabilitation potential. Perform or assist in specific nursing/rehabilitative care activities, including rehab/restorative exercises, communicating necessary information, collecting specimens, and recording vital signs. Attend mandatory staff meetings, training classes/inservices, and complete required training to stay current with events at the Center.

Follow safety and infection control procedures to ensure a safe and clean environment. Interact professionally with residents, family members, co-workers, physicians, consultants, volunteers, and visitors. Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent information to protect resident rights.

Participate in the facility's quality assurance process as requested. Respect resident rights, encouraging participation in programs and activities, and communicate effectively to provide appropriate assistance.
