Certified Journeyman Electrician
Job Description
We are seeking experienced Certified Journeyman Electricians to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong commercial and/or industrial electrical experience and can independently perform installations, troubleshooting, and electrical repairs while maintaining a high standard of safety and workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems
- Perform commercial and industrial electrical installations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical plans
- Install and terminate conduit, wire, cable, panels, and electrical equipment
- Perform rough-in and trim electrical work
- Install and terminate EMT, PVC, MC, and other electrical raceways
- Install panels, switchgear, transformers, disconnects, and feeders
- Perform 120V/208V, 277V/480V, and 3-phase electrical work
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and identify faults efficiently
- Install lighting, switches, outlets, controls, and other electrical devices
- Perform electrical testing and ensure systems operate properly
- Work independently or as part of a crew
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all OSHA, NEC, and company safety requirements
Qualifications
- Current Journeyman Electrician certification/license
- Proven commercial or industrial electrical experience
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings
- Proficient with conduit bending, wiring, terminations, and electrical installations
- Experience with troubleshooting and electrical repairs
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced construction environment

- Tenant improvement and new construction
- 3-phase electrical systems
- Switchgear and distribution equipment
- Transformers and feeders
- Commercial lighting and lighting controls
- EMT and PVC conduit
- Panel installation and termination
- Industrial or manufacturing environments
