1. Take full responsibility for day-to-day warehouse operations, including the development of annual operating plans, staffing plans, shift schedules, warehouse management policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

2. Manage the complete material flow for automotive components and related materials, including inbound appointment scheduling, unloading, receiving, quality-inspection staging, put-away, storage, picking, kitting, line-side delivery, material returns, and outbound shipping.

3. Establish appropriate production logistics and material delivery models based on production plans, including JIT/JIS, Kanban, Milk Run, and line-side supermarkets. Promptly address material shortages and prevent production line stoppages caused by warehousing or logistics issues.

4. Establish inventory management and cycle-counting mechanisms. Organize monthly, quarterly, and annual physical inventory counts, analyze inventory discrepancies, and drive corrective actions to ensure consistency among system records, stock records, and physical inventory.

5. Implement FIFO/FEFO, batch management, serial-number traceability, inventory aging analysis, slow-moving and obsolete inventory management, and scrap material control.

6. Manage the identification, storage, approval, and inventory transaction processing of nonconforming, quarantined, damaged, returned, and scrapped materials, as well as materials to be returned to suppliers.

7. Ensure the standardized operation of WMS, ERP, and other warehouse management systems. Maintain timely system transactions and accurate master data, while promoting the use of barcodes, RFID, mobile terminals, and other digital tools.

8. Optimize warehouse layouts, storage locations, line-side supermarkets, material flow routes, and space utilization based on material characteristics, turnover frequency, and production takt time.

9. Take responsibility for warehouse safety management, with particular focus on forklift operations, pedestrian and vehicle segregation, loading and unloading activities, racking safety, fire safety, work at height, hazardous material management, and personal protective equipment.

10. Ensure that warehousing and material-handling activities comply with applicable Brazilian regulations and requirements concerning occupational health and safety, fire prevention, environmental protection, equipment, and warehouse operations.

11. Implement automotive quality management and material traceability requirements, and support IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 certification audits, customer audits, and internal company audits.

12. Prepare and manage the warehouse operating budget, including labor, overtime, warehouse rental, forklift and equipment rental, packaging materials, external warehousing, and third-party logistics costs.

13. Manage the daily inspection, maintenance, and asset control of warehouse racking, forklifts, tow tractors, material-handling equipment, charging equipment, and warehouse infrastructure.

14. Establish a warehouse KPI management system and continuously monitor production supply fulfillment, inventory accuracy, receiving timeliness, picking accuracy, space utilization, labor productivity, safety incidents, and logistics costs.

15. Apply Lean management methods such as 5S, Kaizen, PDCA, Value Stream Mapping, and standard time analysis to continuously improve warehouse safety, quality, efficiency, and cost performance.

16. Lead multi-shift warehouse teams, including warehouse supervisors, team leaders, warehouse associates, and forklift operators. Be responsible for workforce planning, operational training, skills certification, performance management, and talent development.

17. Maintain effective cross-functional coordination with Production, Production Planning, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, EHS, Finance, IT, Import and Customs Clearance, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers.

18. Participate in new model launches, production ramp-ups, warehouse relocations, external warehouse launches, logistics automation projects, and WMS/ERP system implementations.

19. Establish contingency and business continuity plans for emergencies and disruptions, including power outages, system failures, equipment breakdowns, transportation interruptions, extreme weather, and labor shortages.
