C++ / Python Developer

Location: Montréal, QC — Hybrid (3x/week onsite, Day 1 onboarding onsite) Experience: 3–5 Years About the Role We are looking for highly motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technology background combined with Fixed Income risk and pricing knowledge, and will deliver solutions for risk management and regulatory projects. The candidate should be able to handle the full life-cycle of projects — from requirements analysis through to final implementation and rollout into production — and must demonstrate outstanding communication skills.

Responsibilities Analyze business requirements and create technology requirements by collaborating with different business teams. Create technology solutions by collaborating with technology team members. Deliver end-to-end solutions using high quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Troubleshoot issues and provide effective, timely solutions. Continuously learn about the financial business domain and new programming languages. Skills Required Core Requirements: Hands-on programming experience in C++ and Python Hands-on programming experience in scripting languages — Perl/Shell scripting is required Experience with querying and analyzing data using Sybase and MS Excel Strong AI-assisted coding skills Nice to Have / Strong Advantages: Java programming experience Fixed Income / MBS business knowledge — a definite preference KDB+/Q and functional programming experience — a strong plus Quantitative knowledge and analytical skills
