Business Unit Manager

As an Business Unit Manager at Ivy Partners, you will:

• Develop new business opportunities and grow Ivy Partners' client portfolio.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing.
• Build long-term relationships with clients and understand their business challenges.
• Co-develop tailored consulting proposals and define the most suitable delivery model for each client.
• Lead and manage a team of consultants, supporting their career development and performance.
• Oversee service delivery and ensure client satisfaction across engagements.
• Manage the business unit's P&L, KPIs, OKR and contribute to its strategic growth.

About You

You are our ideal candidate if:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in consulting, business development, or account management.
• Proven track record in selling consulting services and developing new business.
• Strong understanding of consulting delivery models, including Time & Materials, Fixed-Price Projects, Extended Teams, Nearshore, Managed Services and similar engagement models.
• Experience in preparing and presenting commercial proposals tailored to client needs.
• Existing network and client portfolio is a strong asset.
• Previous experience in people management, career development, and team leadership.
• Experience managing P&L and business performance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
