Transway Xpress Global (TXG) is a leading cross-border logistics and eCommerce solutions provider helping Indian businesses expand globally. We work with exporters, manufacturers, D2C brands, eCommerce sellers, and logistics partners to simplify international shipping, fulfilment, and market expansion across the USA, Canada, and other global markets. Role Overview We are looking for an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive business growth across international courier, cargo, freight forwarding, and cross-border eCommerce services.
The ideal candidate should have strong field sales experience, understand international logistics and export processes, and be capable of building relationships with exporters, manufacturers, D2C brands, eCommerce sellers, and logistics partners. Key Responsibilities • Generate new business opportunities from exporters, manufacturers, trading companies, D2C brands, and eCommerce sellers. • Conduct field visits, client meetings, networking events, and business development activities to acquire new customers. • Identify and approach growing brands looking to expand into international markets. • Promote TXG's international courier, cargo, freight forwarding, fulfilment, and cross-border logistics solutions. • Generate leads through referrals, LinkedIn, cold calling, email outreach, industry events, and personal networking. • Maintain CRM records, sales pipeline, follow-ups, and business reports. • Track industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities. • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales and revenue targets. Preferred Candidate Profile • 3+ years of experience in Business Development, Field Sales, International Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Courier, Cargo, Shipping, or B2B Sales. • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. • Understanding of international courier, air cargo, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and export processes. • Experience working with exporters, manufacturers, trading companies, eCommerce sellers, or D2C brands. • Comfortable with client meetings, field sales, and business travel when required. • Existing network within exporters, logistics companies, courier partners, or eCommerce businesses will be a strong advantage.
Good to Have • Strong knowledge of Amazon FBA and FBM, Shopify, marketplaces, and cross-border eCommerce. • Understanding of USA and Canada shipping requirements and cross-border commerce. • Existing relationships with exporters, courier shops, freight forwarders, or D2C brands.
